My Story
My background is unique.
It will make all the difference for your business.
Creating value through process improvement and financial management is what I do, and I love it. I think this strength of simplifying complex issues while unlocking incremental benefits comes from my unique path in life.
I flew my first plane at 15 in the south of France, where I grew up. It was the precursor of three years in the French Air Force. When it became clear I didn’t want to make a career out of it, I pivoted to get a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Aerospace Engineering, leveraging my love for math, physics and everything that flies. But I also wanted to learn more about Business, so I gained my MBA in General Management.
That’s when I moved to the US, a country that always fascinated me. I joined Volvo Trucks in Maryland as a Project Manager, gaining invaluable people management skills and end-to-end process experience. Pursuing my interest in Business, I shifted to the Finance department, before getting married and moving to Los Angeles, CA. There, I got a taste for Business Development at TrueCar, a small web-based company, before joining Nestle a year later.
In the following nine years with the company, I held five positions in Finance and two in Procurement, relocating to Cleveland, OH along the way. Most recently, I joined Stanley Black & Decker, back in Finance and supporting… Procurement! What became clear to me, through promotions, lateral moves, people management and function change (Procurement looked like fun, and it is!), is that:
- I learn very fast, think holistically, and elevate each project I am entrusted with.
- I improve products and processes, always delivering incremental value (think millions).
- I simplify decision-making through thoughtful end-to-end analysis.
- I love to tell stories, get passionate, and can align stakeholders at all levels.
Now I am a father of two little girls (1 and 5), as busy at home as I am at work. I solve problems everyday using both the logic and determination of my brain, and the empathy and patience of my heart. My journey is unique, and I love it. So please reach out, I am ready for the next adventure!
